FC United Girls 2000 Select and 2001 Pre-Academy Teams Sweep Michigan!

Two FC United Girls teams went to Michigan over the weekend as part of their MRL schedule. And saying they had a strong showing would be an understatement! Between the two teams, FC United went 5-0 over teams from Michigan and outscored their opponents 13-4. 

The Girls 2000 Select team won 3 matches. Goals were scored by 6 different players and the 9 points put them in the top-3 of their MRL group. The group also enjoyed the birthday celebration of Caity Ross, and Sam Ritter saved the road trip with her tire repair moves on the road.

The Girls 2001 Pre-Academy team won both of their matches. Hailey Laurenson recorded a goal in each game. Maura Murphy had a goal and an assist on the weekend. And the backline was nearly perfect all weekend long. 

A great weekend for FCU on and off the field in Michigan!
