Playing Experience
My playing experience is mostly school soccer when I was younger, and now adult leagues and tournaments. I currently play with Hyde Park International, an adult club formed on the South Side of Chicago with people I grew up with. I also referee in leagues around the area, and I’m a board member and player in Chicago based adult pickup soccer group with over 3,000 members.
Coaching Experience
I have coached for 10 years across neighborhood recreational leagues, and with CPS as part of the Taft High School women’s program in Chicago.
“Why Do I Coach?”
I coach because I genuinely love the game of soccer, and I love what it can do for kids. Soccer is fun, competitive, and challenging, but it also teaches habits that carry over everywhere else: effort, discipline, resilience, and being a good teammate. My goal is to help young players reach their full potential, both on and off the field. That means building strong fundamentals, learning to think faster, and gaining confidence in new roles, but it also means learning how to handle setbacks, show leadership, and take pride in doing the right things even when nobody is watching. I want players to enjoy the game, keep getting better, and leave each season feeling more capable than when they started.
